The OpenIMS Enterprise Edition (OpenIMS EE) is a commercial Open Source license with product maintenance and optional a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the complete implementation.

The other edtion, the OpenIMS Community Edition is available under the GNU General Public License v. 3.0.
